OLDS — Winners of various curling leagues at the Olds Curling Club have been determined.
The Monday night men’s league champions are the team of Gary Gaudette, Jeff Holmes, Mike Krieger and Greg Rosenke.
The Monday morning league champs are the Gene Leonard rink with third Leona Compton, second Debbie Stephenson and lead Brenda Schalin.
Wednesday morning winners are the Derek Doi rink, with third Gerry Schalin, second Scott Medd and lead Wayne McMillan.
Thursday evening men’s league winners are the Heikkinen rink consisting of Wayne Heikkinen, Dean Bracken, Marcel Hochstein and Lyle Blatz.
In the ladies curling league finals, the Amanda Miller rink defeated the Joanne Notley rink 9-5.
The Miller rink featured third Jennifer Wood, second Claire Rosehill, lead Colleen Braithwaite and spare Jill Zurkan.
The Notley rink featured third Roxanne Knapp, second Cathy Bennett and lead Brandy Rambo, who filled in for Lori Gans.
