The Cochrane Eagle is a national and provincial award-winning weekly newspaper based in the rapidly growing community of Cochrane, Alberta, located approximately 25 minutes west of Calgary in the foothills of the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Since 2001, the Eagle (part of the Great West Newspaper family since 2012) has been Cochrane and area’s No. 1 source for news. We reach the rural areas west of Calgary from Bragg Creek in the south, to Cremona in the north, and to the Stoney Nakoda First Nation in the west.
