DIDSBURY - Many, many residents and visitors of all ages came out for the annual Didsbury Show & Shine car and truck extravaganza on Saturday.
As in 2024, this year’s May 10 event was put on by the MVF Community Care Society, with dozens of volunteers making things possible.
Almost 400 vehicles, including many fine vintage cars and trucks, took part in this year’s event.
Warm weather conditions throughout the day were certainly welcome by all concerned.
Society member Dan Harter told the Albertan organizers were pleased with the number of vehicles in this year’s show, as well as with the many, many visitors who came out to enjoy the day.
On the MVG Community Care Society website, officials said, “Another spectacular show with so many amazing participants. We thank you for coming out today and making this a special day. There were just shy of 400 truly unique entries and there were so so many favourites.
“Many thanks also to all the volunteers and anyone who helped to make this event such a success.”
The Didsbury Fire Department showcased some of their fire and rescue vehicles in this year’s show.
Several local and area businesses helped sponsor the show again in 2025.
According to event poster, the Didsbury car show has been held in town since 1915.
