Police continue to look for a woman who has been criminally active in numerous areas of Alberta including Olds in the past.
Jan-Anne August is the only person featured in Alberta RCMP’s March 26 social media #WantedWednesday campaign.
The RCMP’s social media-based initiative features individuals with active warrants believed to be living in Alberta.
She was one of two people featured in the March 19 #WantedWednesday campaign.
While RCMP noted Wednesday that Blake Gregory Zeron who was active in St. Albert and Edmonton was found and arrested, August has not been.
She is wanted by RCMP for various crimes, police noted in the info released again March 26.
August’s last known location is unknown, police say, adding that in the past she has been active in Olds, Kneehill County, Clairmont, Calgary, Foothills County, Munson, Bragg Creek, Enchant, Lethbridge County, Lethbridge, Taber, Vulcan,Vulcan County, Strathmore, Grande Prairie and County of Newell.
Individuals appearing in the social media campaign are chosen “based on an analysis of their criminal history and how much potential harm they present to a community.”
RCMP stress not to approach any of the people that they are looking for, but to report any information to local police or to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
